M Performance LSD Testing and Drifting BMW M140i

A few clips of drifting with the BMW M Performance Diff, feels good so far.
Still have the buzzing noise, hope it gets quieter after some time.

Das sieht nach Spaß aus! Cooles Video! Ich beneide dich um deine Handschaltung. 😉 Würdest du sagen, dass die Sperrwirkung ausreichend ist oder hast du ab und zu noch die Situation, dass nur ein Rad durchdreht?

Ja gerade zum sportlichen fahren bin ich froh den Handschalter zu fahren. Ich empfinge die Sperrwirkung als ausreichend, es ist kein Vergleich zum offenen Differential. Ich hatte auch erst Angst das mir der Sperrwert nicht ausreicht, aber für mich passt es perfekt. Bei meinem e30 hatte ich eine 25 % Sperre, die habe ich quasi nicht gespürt da war mir das viel zu wenig, die 30% beim 1er fühlen sich nach sehr viel mehr an.

Does it need 1000 km break in or did you drift right away 😂?

I think BMW says nothing about a break in period, but I did drive carefully the first few kilometers and after 1800 km I did an oil change.
