Since I'm getting priced out of restaurants and 'gastropubs' I find M&S is a place I go to for a meal to cook at home that is a treat, some of the food is excellent, I don't mind the slightly higher price, much cheaper than eating out!🎉

i buy the asda create your own pizza $4.25?-ish, 14" thin & crispy with ham, beef and double spicy chicken. then add winwards hot pepper sauce generously spread out and it's perfect.

M&S pizzas are up there with the best supermarket pizzas available. They are never cheap though, but they often do pizza deals including 2 pizzas plus 2 decent sides for a tenner. I normally like to sprinkle some chilli oil on my pizzas, but perhaps I shall give it a miss if I buy that really hot one you tried.

Not been the biggest fan of M&S pizza's but like some spice so tempted by this. I would never buy it at full price though. They have some great combination deals that will drop the price a lot if you buy two pizzas with sides.

Look out for the yellow reduction stickers, they seem to reduce earlier than other supermarkets, so this could go down to about £3.99 with a day's date, for example

@@tomwilliams7391 Yellow sticker hunting is an art. They reduce the next days food late the day before & again roughly 2 hrs before closure on the day it goes out of life. If your on time a pizza can be under £2

I agree i struggle to justify the m&s prices. £7 for a ready meal for one. Its just not on, the quality can be decent but still vastoy over priced. This pizza does look good though.

I see the price and always go "I can make it for cheaper" and then buy all the ingredients and end up spending twice as much lol.... To be fair I do end up with spices and ingredients left over and I end up making two pizza's instead of one because a 500g bag of flour makes two...... But yeah it doesn't end up cheaper and I end up fatter.

£6 isn't too bad, M&S reduce things quite early with a day's date left, so this may go down to about £3.99 with the yellow sticker!

@@tomwilliams7391 I'd just buy mix flour like Morrison's for £1 and it makes the perfect pizza dough. I'd get two 13 inches out of it and then just buy one Mozzarella tub and that's just over a quid, some Pizza sauce in a jar and basil and it comes to around £5. I often see chili peppers on sale for less than a quid too to put in the sauce. So that's still too expensive for me when I can make it at home and it's better. Yet somehow it always ends up costing £10 somehow cause I've bought other things I never would have if I just bought the pizza.

What size pizzas are you making for 500g to only do two pizzas. I usually get about 3 or 4 10" to 12"
