My logic brain kicks in and I know some frail 100lb-150lb female doesn't have the Physical strength, quickness, or stamina to battle with males. Not to mention that they are emotional compromised when it comes to overt violence. I've just moved beyond the desire to suspend reality that far. Just like I'm tired of the Super Can do anything Children trope as well.

Some potentially interesting ideas and nice visuals, but making your badass fighting action hero a chick is just annoyingly distracting and stupid and I'm really beyond sick of it Had a good discussion about it with my friend after watching those two episodes though, I said if they'd made the proper story choice and made the protagonist a man it'd be a solid 7.5/10 from what I'd seen thus far, but making it a woman really spoils it and takes it down to a 5/10 I put it as when they were writing they story at some point they had a choice to make about the protagonist, they had the classic one (male) or the politically motivated modern one (woman), they chose poorly. Even then you can make the second choice work although it requires a complete removal of the political angle (which therefore renders the point of the choice from the creators eyes moot) and it also requires extreme care and justification to make it work, and even with extreme care, story justification and removal of the political, it will always ride an incredibly fine line and is extremely open to being corrupted, especially if any other creators without the care grace and tact to make such a fundamnetally unrealistic story choice work get involved Maybe there's some justification later for why she's "THE BESTEST EVAR" later, but from what I saw in the first few episodes there was non (Yes I know the sword smiths allowing her to train, but she's just watching some people sometimes training and somehow getting better at it on her own by practicing alone than anyone else? Stupid, stupid, stupid. Also I'm pretty sure this is the exact same cringe Shang Chi pulled, not that I ever watched that film)

We were diverse back then as in lots of chinese and indian employees, all here under visa. Since then we have pulled in tons of Black folks....but not american black folks. Mostly from haiti and central Africa. This facility is located in a very high % affrican american city, but hardly any of the black folks are locals. Promoting DEI ngives them ammunition to expand H1B visas which were more heavily regulated 10 years ago than they are now. Huge employeers love H1B visas. They bring in people from shit countries that would accept substandard pay and will take terrible shifts and skip weekends without complaining because more than anything, they fear losing that visa and getting sent back to the war torn poverty stricken country they cane from. Ive seen guys skip weekends for months on end and work every day for months on end, and they say they cant risk being on future layoff lists and losing their visa. I think a lot of the DEI is a hoax to scam their way into expanded visa programs so they can hire slaves to do things Americans eont do and accept pay that Americans wont accept. I work on an 8 person team. But im one of only 3 that is not here on visa...and i wonder if that was a miatake and perhaps the person who hired me didnt realize that Puerto Ricans are American citizens

I just wanna say I rewatched the Fox X-Men recently, and it's not as bad as I remember. Last Stand still out does Marvel's current stuff, X-Men origins doesn't do nearly as badly as other origin movies/shows anymore, even some of the others like First Class just seemed better at this point. And state should be involved in all these cases, as they are basically child abuse. And no parent is allowed to abuse their child, even it means an STATE agent knocking on your door. And state should enforce practices which make sure all participants on these sites are adults

Rebel Moon reminded me of Jupiter Ascending and that is never good. 1st hour I was checking my finances. The only bit I found interesting was the spider robot lady and that character just dies what a waste. Hey maybe you could gain that character as an Allie to have an army of robot spiders if you just help her have children and tell her of the great enemy out there that probably would kill her species. No just watch her be killed by a chick with two swords. Disappointed. Also the "join us to fight the empire" bits were simple and quite lame. It was garbage.

Watched Reacher S2 and I think it's not good. They are pretending like the tiny soyboy and the 2 skinny girls could possibly be equal to that HUGE dude Reacher. First season it was cool how Reacher kicked a** solo with no shiets to give plus he worked well with the cop. S2 they should not have the tiny bone people pretend to be fighters. Have them do hacking/backend stuff while Reacher kicks a**. Also chemistry between the group seems lacking, I just don't care for the relationship.

There were some bits in the first Reacher season that I felt didn't work to well, like when he nearly gets killed fighting that random skinhead in the house, how the F was that guy going toe-to-toe with him? It should of been a push-over but because they needed to end the episode on a cliff-hanger of him nearly dying for some reason he was arbitrarily able to be winning (until he wasn't at the beginning of the next episode). I also thought the final scene in the drug factory was pretty lame. S1 was good overall though, probably a 7.5/10

It is very much a lesson to tell your kids to be kids while they're kids, cause they can never have youth back. To not be so worried about seeing that stuff. You can't control people's lives, but you can show them a direction. Make sure their lives are full of good and wonderful things, as much as you can. Give them knowledge and talk to them like you'd talk to a friend when they get a certain age.

@@821lancevance There are apparently screenings for new movies that specifically exclude white people. They invite reviewers who are "POC" but no whites allowed, not even as plus ones. Recently, Chris mentioned this casually as apparently just a thing that happens and he recently was unable to go to a screening because of it, and Gary immediately jumped on it and wanted Chris to write about it and let people know it was happening because it is not really public knowledge but Chris was not that worked up about it, seemingly. So, some people are mad at Chris. But I think he just is too much in that Hollywood sphere to have realized just how bad that sounds to ordinary people outside of Hollywood. People accept things sometimes if everyone else around them goes along with it. It's not Chis Gore's fault, he's just in need of some outsiders to wake him up to it before he gets as angry about it as Gary was immediately. California is like North Korea. People living under that regime often don't react to things the way they should until they've been freed and deprogrammed. Certainly we should be trying to help Chis realize how insane that is, but we shouldn't be mad at Chris over it, we should be mad at the racists in Hollywood that victimized him.
