I don’t understand at the cost of these bikes why they don’t supply both a comfort seat for road use and a harder seat for track use.

Yeah… it’s actually crazy how uncomfortable the stock seat is for street riding

Thanks for these videos! How's the wind on the M1000R? I got rid of my MT09 because highway rides were a chore with getting buffeted by wind and I switched to the GSX8R and it's more comfortable simply because of the windscreen. Keep up the great videos!

Thank you!! I love my m1000r just because of the riding position, it makes up for the wind for sure. I’m actually gonna film a windshield vs no windshield video soon so I can see how much of a diff they make on a naked bike! How are you liking the gsx8r?? I was looking at it at aim expo this year.

@@topmaster999 I'm sure the windshield will make a small difference! I rode the tuono and it was amazingly comfortable, slightly leaned forward with a small windshield...great combo. So if this BMW can achieve the same it will jump up to the top of my next bikes list. I love my little Suzuki, comfortable and enough power to have fun, no issues so far. I have done a couple of track days and the stock suspension and brakes are surprisingly good at high speeds and tossing it into corners on the brakes. So far the biggest downside is the power, loses a lot of steam up top and with the throttle pinned I could maybe hit 209 kph. I weigh 95 kg. I'm planning on turning it into a little track weapon so rear sets and clip ons are first, then ECU flash and maybe a pipe. Once I feel the suspension is holding me back that will be the next upgrade. So far so good!

That’s super sick!! What kind of horsepower are those putting out? I’d love to have a smaller track bike for those smaller tracks. I feel like you learn so much more on a less powerful bike

@@topmaster999 It's around 70 hp to the rear wheel stock. With a more open air box, velocity stacks, aftermarket exhaust and ECU flash you can get close to 90 hp to the rear wheel, so over 100hp at the crank, which is nuts....but it also has way more torque (60 ft/lbs) than any supersport so it's a little rocket with some tuning! Check out some twin cup moto america races this year, they are racing against RS660's and R7's and so far they have the lead in championship points!

Ah yeah that’s not to bad. I’ve rode an r7 and found it quite slow. Lots of torque in first gear but after that it felt really low on the power

Hows it holding up my 2018 S1000R seat is hurting the fanny!

It’s a massive improvement over the stock seat, it cradles your butt pretty good haha
