These videos have been very helpful. Not using all of them but I’m doing my head gaskets and resealing my motor and installing cams. I have a m113 5.0 that I put in a w210 e55. Got it with a blown motor. Apparently I’ll be around 400 crank with m113 5.4 cams I installed. Much thankful for the help for the head torque specs, how to time the motor, and what to look out for.

Hello. The m113 5.0. With the amg will never have 400 crank . It will be have max 340 crank . 400 crank from this 5.0 is very hard in NA . Max would be 370 if you do a perfect exhaust system and headers porter heads. Even more aggressive cams. And a perfect intake

@@JMSpeedshopyeah, that’s what I thought. My tuner is Mercedes swap shop and I asked him around what hp it would be making with the tune he’s doing and he said around 420 but that didn’t sound right since I know people barely get that with the 5.4.
@JMSpeedshop2 ай бұрын
@sdgames6598 correct . I have never seen a NA 5.4 make over 400 crank also

Net het filmpje gezien op autoweek van de 190 V12. En volg al een tijdje het S124 project. Een beetje RS6 'en en bmw stations pesten met mijn veel lichtere 7-zitter. 😂 Schitterend. Kan ik alleen maar toejuichen. Veel succes nog met je project. Ik kijk al uit naar het resultaat.

Dank je wel. 😃😎

Abit late now. But one thing I recently learnt, was to have the head stud washer dry on the bottom, and only lubed on the thread and bottom of nut to get a consistent torque, But, looking at the time lapse, seemed to be pretty consistent on the angle turned for each stud👍
@JMSpeedshop2 ай бұрын
The way i learned is that you have to lube all the sides also the Rings top and bottom . But i checked everything afterwards and the have all the same value. Can be that you will have slight difference but with these values. 1-3 nm will do nothing different

Ohh man! I just bought S500 W220 and planning to get more power of it in the future! Was thinking of putting a supercharger but since the original one doesn't give power more than 600 then turbos would be a solution) But it's all about the space under the hood)
@JMSpeedshop2 ай бұрын
W220 has enough space 😃

@@JMSpeedshop in 220 yes, but I'm planning to take out the engine and put it in some smaller car for drifting:)) W220 as a drift car would be interesting but not competitive at all :D

Interesting to see how much power those mods make. My stock m113 5.0 makes 500hp/730nm on 0.75bar. I still runnin stock exhausmanifold and rearmount turbo. I am planing to make some same mods 55 na or komressor heds. First I put the 55na stainless manifolds on and see the differense, they should flow better.

Nice. Your running e85?

WHAT ? No AC ? You should reconsider this matter one more time. Or two 😊

Not really. Dont have space for the other parts around the pump. Like the lines and fluid reservoir. The engine bay will be so full that i can not do some maintenance anymore

Can you show how you are pulling motor , you may have done that already...and show the reinstall...how you manage the transmission...any tip appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I saw in your previous video that you painted the upper part of the engine, I would like to ask what kind of paint you used, did you prime it before and how does it withstand the heat? I am building an m112 and I also want to paint it
@JMSpeedshop2 ай бұрын
The parts are powder coated. By a local company. No special coating it should handle up to 140c
