I am of the thought maybe Congo is better off broken into Nations if that what it will take to bring peace and economical development .The truth is that the East of Congo and West of Congo is two vastly different people blocked by the vast Congo forest making communication and logistic very difficult .Many Eastern Congo people speak Kiswahili and many speak English compared to the Western Congo were they speak Lingala and French and many Eastern Congo people complain that they never see any development from the Kinshasa Government other then corruption from the government officials .

I think they are afraid that history repeat itself like how in the 1960s the leader of a free state Katanga Moise Tshombe violently overthrew Lumumba with the support of Belgium over some mining deals! But this is not the 60s anymore!
