ce n'est pas un chiffon qu'il faut mettre sur le câble mais une lourde veste ou couverture

you are missing the top reinforcement plate on your winch it will break if you pull hard on it

Do not worry, I have this plate, but removed in order to use my winch with lifting goat. Moreover I winched huge loads without this plates well well to the limits of the capacities of the winch notament of enormous forest logs, Full-load semi-trailers planted in icy or icy climbs in winter. No worries, you just need to know your equipment and know how to use it.

not at all, it is removed to be able to use the winch as a lifting goat and I have cut well and in "normal" mode hundreds of times in loads above the recommended limit.
