I was so excited to see this because I couldn't figure out how to get the electronic module out of the way! I worked on that thing for 3 hrs! Had to put the og pedal back together to drive the next day. Thanks for the vid now I can install my UCP tomorrow! By the way there are no other install vids for the F80 so u should get a million views! Can't thank you enough!

Finally got it installed today. This is a game changer! Make the F80 shift so much smoother and you are in complete control! Amazing! It's everything you said and more! This is without a short shifter. Best purchase by far! Thanks for the vid wouldn't have gotten it in without you!

@@Scoobyfreak86 yessir i only test drove a dct not the 6spd yet but man i feel in love with the car. I need to still test drive a 6spd n see but ill most likely go with that. Do u think comp vs non comp is important? Doesnt rlly matter if imma mod it anyways rt
@Scoobyfreak86Күн бұрын
@Xccord a test drive with both will give you a better idea of what you are looking for. I do think the comp is worth it. Holds value a bit better and you have a nicer starting point.

Man, I really appreciate your vids! I've got a UCP waiting to be installed. Thanks for showing the install. My question is, have you deleted the clutch valve? I wonder if that is necessary given the improvements with the UCP.

The cdv is the only thing I haven’t done yet. And to be honest, after the ssk and the UCP, I’m not sure if it’s needed. It feels very very good right now.

I latched on for the STI videos (which I have), but love what you've done with this car. Beautiful work and car. A car is meant to be driven and experienced, and you get that. If you get a Tesla, I'll unfollow. LOL.
Great content, I was looking into this before I pulled the trigger on the auto solutions SSK. I know the F8x & G8x share the same manual but this part isn’t compatible with the G8x chassis, bummer.

dammit its still in stock on turner. Gotto order it now too.

Is the stock clutch pedal feel on your M3 similar to the M2 you reviewed a little while ago? In what ways to they differ if they aren't?
@Scoobyfreak86Күн бұрын
Yes similar. Had the 3 different “stages” and very light feel. I’d recommend doing this in the f87 as well.

Now i wonder 🤔 can i just removed the clutch assist springs in my factory pedal to try and make it feel better.
@Scoobyfreak86Күн бұрын
Don’t think so. As the main feel of the pedal is the shorter throw and didn’t positioning. You can certainly try it, but it won’t yield the same results.
