6:30 polypropylene is just the long name for plastic, (polymer - propylene poly meaning a chain or a grouping and propylene referring to the material composition CH3 CH =CH2 polyethylene is the most common thermal dynamic plastic, polyurethane is a poly chain of resin aka urethane which is a crystallized formation usually used in pesticides/anesthetics/etc you can find polypropylene plastic covering metal wires (any phone charger/cord/electrical work etc) it helps with insulation so that the wires don’t burn out, cross wires, or get water damage. Plastic can melt and because plastic is a form of crude oil it does give off toxic gasses and become flammable at a certain point. The whole head being made of a plastic isn’t an ideal idea to begin with as overheating would be a major issue: latex is used or rubber and most mechanical things either have a lot of airflow or fans for cooling measures

I was definitely on the side of the therapist, the child's wellbeing takes precedence in this situation and to be honest she is right as Gemma does a real bad job for like 75% of the movie even emotionally manipulating her into going to the premier. Also side note, M3gan is physically played by Amie Donald and voiced by Jenna Davis

Therapist was horribly written though, she was a judgemental grunt from the minute she walked on screen. She should have addressed a situation with a child who had a day ago lost her mother and father with a lot more empathy than she showed to Kaddie and Gemma from the get go.

To answer your question about who plays M3gan, and to expand on another comment I saw, there were three versions of M3gan that they used depending on the shot: (1) an animatronic that took around 12 people to operate, (2) a puppet (like you see in the woods scene when M3gan is being carried), and (3) Amie Donald who would walk around and dance! And of course, Jeena Davis voiced the doll! IT'S INSANE, RIGHT?!

As someone who works at a daycare, I can say that I have first hand seen the very negative effects technology can have on kids. We have a rule at the preschool that the kids can have an hour of screen time in the morning, and another hour in the afternoon. But one little boy who recently joined our class was a single child to two parents who just gave him an iPad at home and didn't limit screen time at all, because they knew it would keep him busy. So the very same day he arrived, after the hour of screen time in the morning was up, all the kids put their devices away and went off to read or play with toys. All except for the new kid. I asked him to put the iPad away and go join some kids, but he refused. I asked him a few more times, and he still refused before yelling at me that I was "a sucky adult" and that I "couldn't tell him what to do." So, when I finally just took the iPad from him, he screamed, suddenly tackled me to the floor and bit my arm. We aren't allowed to touch the kids even in defense in situations like this, so I had to lay there and take it. Eventually, another teacher pulled the kid off me, but I had the bite marks in my arm for three days! Parents! Please raise your kids and teach them to act right instead of letting them be slaves to technology!

the movie was amazing. i didn't know what to expect going into it, but it was so fun the whole way through. It had a little bit of everything. the whole time watching it the little girl playing Cady looked so familiar and I couldn't put my finger on it. come to find out she's the younger sister of the girl from The Black Phone. You guys weren't as extreme to the therapist as other reactions I've seen, but I must be the only one on the therapist's side. It's been over a week since Cady has been with Gemma...the house is still not kid friendly, there are no toys in the house, Gemma is not socializing with her niece, and no positive daily routine has been established. "Safe Space" is not just about Cady's physical state, but her emotional state, as well. That's how I saw that scene.
