I hope I am wrong, someone tell me I am wrong after swapping it with a 2TB off the shelf SSD and benchmarking it.

That thermal paste is applied beautiful but why not on the entire chip and memory... I think repasting with a good paste will improve the cooling whatever the chip is.

*Would* it have been easier? I mean, im sure it would have been cheaper to do that for one, but im sure it was cheaper for them to make it modular to reduce the number of different configurations and toolings they had to have

I’m super curious how you repasted the mac mini, and if so, how are the thermals?

I really enjoyed watching that video discussing the Mac mini M7 in detail. It was fascinating to learn about how Apple addressed issues, from versions and enhanced performance I was particularly impressed by how they managed to blend power and efficiency in such a compact design now. Appreciate the explanation of the internal components. It really helped me grasp the specific updates made in this latest version. )

So when is the Mac mini review coming? Which one will be enough for Final Cut 4K editing with heavy Topaz video effects ? And also lots of luts ? I don’t need 8k work flow

Would love it if you could test out the difference between the 12 core m4 pro and 14 core m4 pro mac mini's. Especially the thermal throttling and heat.

Amazing. Will the SSD in the M4pro be replaceable as well?

GREAT NEWS!! This SSD is "normal" or Apple only? Can I replace it by any of the small ones on the market? Thanks for the video!

I love it so much! Do you guys think this is the end of the Mac Studio though? Not that I mind, I’d just like to know. Thanks!
@techinrl9869Ай бұрын
Highly unlikely, though they may redesign it to close to the new mini’s size. It might end up being as small but much taller. They can’t really discontinue it because the mini is still an entry to mid-level desktop while the iMac is only an entry-level. If they got rid of the Studio, they would have no more high end Mac desktops.

I've always been amazed with Apple's hardware and engineering, I'm just not a fan of the software. But I think they did an awesome job with this new Mac Mini.

are you sure that storage is user replaceable? would there not be some pairing between the motherboard and the storage? or the controller is onboard with only the nand being on the daughterboard, like in the studio?

seems easy enough to relocate the powerbutton if needed
@IcemanTheDjАй бұрын
Is not a big deal. I lift it about 5mm and press that button… It’s small, is not like you lift a tower pc😂
@MyInstantSearchАй бұрын
@@IcemanTheDj I don't mind that power button on the mini but just that statement. I might put it on top of a box to lift it up
@IcemanTheDjАй бұрын
@@MyInstantSearch yeah... I also turn it off often! Even so, just got it yesterday and is not such a drama the button placement. Could be better? Maybe yes.
