If you’re on the go constantly the bigger one is easier to work with (on a plane, hotel, etc). If you’re strictly working from home (with an extended monitor) going smaller can save you a little money

People are obviously still buying the macbooks if they’re still selling them at this price. Don’t you think people waving around that much money hasn’t already considered all those options and still find a pricey macbook worth it? It’s likely they already have an expensive pc and got a macbook so they can have something portable and still stupid fast for working.
