Well it was caseless 10mm. I think the halo assault rifle was also caseless but it has shells ejecting. I know for sure the m7 smg in halo is caseless though

@@Malice_doll The Halo assault doesn’t shoot caseless ammunition. It shoots cased 7.62. But you’re correct about the SMG.

Alien and Blade Runner are set in the same universe. Ridley Scott himself even confirmed it to be true. And if you remember the Paul Anderson movie Soldier with Kurt Russell, David Webb Peoples wrote the screenplay for that movie and made it what he calls a "side-quel" to Blade Runner. Todd 3465's combat history mentions the Tannhäuser Gate battle and Shoulder of Orion Skirmish, and in his ordnance levels, the USCM Smartgun is mentioned. In Blade Runner 2049 when K and Joi are on their way to the orphanage, the ship seen emerging from the clouds was a Conestoga class military transport ship, same class as the U.S.S. Sulaco in Aliens, and in the very next scene when they arrive in the San Diego junkyard, the same scrap metal disposal haulers from Soldier make an appearance, thus connecting all three movie franchises.

I actually cut down and threaded the factory ejector rod on the Bulldog. Once that was threaded, I machined a brass bushing that I shaped like the ejector rod collar and just shortened it so it would fit behind the Steyr SL magazine well but still be able to lock up into the Bulldog’s frame once the cylinder was closed. This will keep the cylinder locked in and aligned while firing. I learned of this technique from another guy who did this on The Replica Prop Forum so I cannot take credit for this method.

Wasn’t a full mag, it was 12 rounds fired. Also, that was a 5” steel plate at about 20 yards away. I’m lucky I hit that even once saying as though both the rifle and the Blade Runner pistol have absolutely no sights whatsoever…

Sorry, I’m terrible with uploading videos lol. I have a firing Starship Troopers Morita Carbine that’s finished, I have a Cowboy Bebop Jericho 941R with custom 3D printed grips to match, I have an exact clone Samurai Edge Beretta Brigadier Elite from Resident Evil, I have a finished firing M56 Smartgun with screen accurate Steadicam vest and arm and a functioning headset with integrated camera and I have a fully functional Mauser C96 that I am turning into a DL44 from Star Wars. Besides for the DL44 and the Samurai Edge, all of these guns are finished. I just haven’t gotten around to get video of these things in action. I will eventually take some more video when I can get a reliable cameraman to hit up the range with me and upload more to the channel.

Yeah, I thought about it but I have a very busy and demanding day job that pays the bills so I don’t have as much free time as I would like to focus on my Social Media stuff. No airsoft parts were used for this build. The shrouds are all aluminum and a real SPAS 12 handguard and pump grip were used for the “grenade launcher” portion.

The main body? If you mean the portion underneath the aluminum shrouds, it’s an Auto Ordinance Thompson M1 SBR chambered in .45ACP that everything is built on.

@@the_chomper - I believe he used the Aluminum shrouds from an HCG Pulse Rifle Replica for his build. Those shrouds are very rare and expensive because later releases of the Pulse Rifle replicas came with plastic vac formed shrouds.

I do have an extra HCG Hero Pulse Rifle (with aluminum shrouds) but I was holding onto it in anticipation of making a second firing Pulse Rifle. However, that looks like it may not pan out so I may offload some of the stuff I’ve collected along the way, including the HCG prop. Just a heads up though, if I do get rid of it, it won’t be cheap as I paid a lot for it and they are impossible to find anymore.

In that video, the guy used an M11 9mm (similar to your Hollywood MAC10 that you see in movies all the time) instead of a .45 ACP Thompson like the screen used Pulse Rifles. In addition to this, he uses a 50 round Suomi coffin magazine in the gun. It’s neat and he did a great job but if you look at pictures of that Pulse Rifle, it is very different then what’s used in the movie. I was going for maximum screen accuracy for my build but I didn’t have an extra 25k laying around for a transferable Thompson submachinegun, so I went the semiauto route.

The Thompson isn’t going to be the hard part, finding a genuine SPAS cage/handguard is going to be extremely difficult and expensive.

In order to make the Pulse Rifle, you HAVE to use an SBR Thompson and SBS shotgun.

Yeah actually. The gun itself is completely finished. Im wrapping of the 3D model for the camera housing and eye piece for the targeting camera. Then I just have to finish the breast plate armor for the Smartgun vest and everything will be totally finished.

Best bet is to buy a matrix airsoft gun. The shell is built around an m1a1, specs should be the same as a real gun. Either take the shell to a machinist and have an aluminum shell made or a fiberglass/cf guy to do the shell. Looks like an auto ordnance m1a1 will work if SBR'd. Looks like it has to be the rifle model to utilize the screw holes behind the pistol grip. The plastic airsoft shell should be fine to larp with though a thompson doesn't have much recoil.
