I'm a weirdo but I've always liked this thing. I normally use the APFSDS. Players just need to remember this is your light tank - if you want something heavy to brawl with it, there's LOTS of good options in the Chinese tech tree, but plenty of really fun SPAA options. When I want to just sit back and have fun I play either China 8.3 or France 6.0. Jon's ammo load on the WZ305 is also wild.

I think 281U got added much later than the SP so if Jon didn't play the WZ305 for a long time he might've forgotten to change it.

Its kinda funny how the China tech tree has two separate light tanks that are normally 6.3 but with more modern equipment and a mediocre dart. Right up until you have to stock grind them its funny at least.

That's my personal favorite match of all time, 6:30 is magic. Perman my teammate sadly passed away from cancer last year so it's a special tournament for me. In that channel you should be able to see the 2v2 and 7v7 tournament for that year, just look for all REDA matches.

Just look in the comments here, there's a lot of controversy about if APFSDS is better or worse than HEAT. Personally I use the dart, I think you can more reliably aim for weak spots, and I try my best to be far away from the enemy when the M41D, and those long shots are easier with APFSDS.

It's very debatable of which is better for this tank. Usually, HEAT isn't the best shell, but the AP seemingly has a smaller spall cone for the 76.2mm

@@michaelvigil5321 Yeah, and in the second game Jon got 2 kills using his laser range finder and firing over the hill with HEAT, and he could have gone at least 1 more, and he missed two shots for not using his laser ranger finder. This match is perfect evidence that both ammo types were needed. All around the M41D is a delicate light tank without a reliable cannon. I think it's best role is to tickle tanks at long distance if you combine thermals, laser range finder, scouting, and the drone. There's much better tanks for doing tank things in the chinese tech tree at this BR.
