Hi guys, me and my cousin both got the same bikes, Tifgalop ES28 with an M5 lcd on them, but his settings go all the way to p18 or p20. and mine only goes to p09? so i cant change the same things he did, and i whant it to accelerate faster from start cos its slow moving from a standstill. any ideas for what i can do?

Hi Andre, E02 means brake fault. There is power off cables on the brake lever. When we pull the lever, the power will be cut off. If the lever stucks and does not rebound well. It will keep the motor off. Please check the brake levers and see if they rebound fully. If they do, please check if the connections of the brake cables in the controller box are well connected. They are two same small terminals that contains two wires of same colors (green and white). If still not solved, please contact me by whatsapp [phone]

Hi the pedal assist mode might need some adjustment: Please follow the steps below: 1/ Check whether P10 is set to 0001. If it is, the bicycle will be in pure electric mode, and the assist will fail. If it's 0000 or 0002, the settings is correct. 2/ Try to adjust P13. P13 has three parameters, 0005, 0008 and 0012, you can try one by one, and check whether the assist mode works; 3/ Check whether the wiring in the controller is well connected, if the sensor cable is not connected to the controller, the power assist mode will not work.

@@alisonfeng4804 The setting for speed is P8 , but setting this to 25 does not limit the pedal assist to 25kmh. My bike has a 1000w motor and I guess that setting P8 to 25 will set the maximum wattage to 250w (25% of 1000w) but I would like to set it in a way that PAS1 DOES NOT assist to 15kmh bit rather 5 or 7kmh and PAS2 would go to 10 and so on . Now my pedal assist 2 makes the bike go up to 20+kmh . Thats a problem but would be nice to ride it legally. Can you explain how i controll the pedal assist limit to 25 kmh?

P08: speed limit: No. 2 protocol, range 0-100km/h, 100 means no speed limit; 5S protocol, 0-41km/h; The input data here indicates the maximum operating speed of the bike: for example, input 25, indicating that the maximum operating speed will not exceed 25km/h; the drive speed is maintained at the set value, Error: ± 1km/h; (power assist and throttle speed both limited) Note: The value here is on km as the benchmark. When the unit setting is converted from km to mile, the speed value of the display interface will be automatically converted to the correct mile value, but the speed limit value data set at this menu under the mile interface is not converted, which is not consistent with the actual display mile speed limit value;

Hi E08 means throttle fault. It means the wire connection or the throttle itself may have some problem.

Hi thank you so much for your reply, I found the problem, it was the throttle wire connector that connects to the motor, it got a little wet while out in the torrential rain, all fixed and back to been the best bike I've ever owned, thank you 😊

E10 means communication receiving fault. There might be causes for it: 1\ the P settings are not in factory place; 2\ one of the cable connections might be loose; 3\ one of the display, controller, throttle, or assist sensor might be defective; 4\ the connection of the cables might be moisture or dirty, which needs to be cleaned with Spray cleaner;
