I use mine with the Ohaus Scale and its a fantastic, affordable trickler system. Fingers crossed for your Concentricity Gauge Tool being made available!

Thanks, same scale I use. Your feed is slower than what I was using. What I noticed was the scale between the lower outer marker sometimes stopped. I had the same issue with my scale. My feed was faster than what you used. And hence I had some over charged loads (and may not have had the sensor unit properly set up). Would like to see how you set up the sensor. Will send an email early in the week. Will review the video again.

How do I get pricing list of your products

Hi sir, I live in Sweden. Have had both autotrickler v3 and other powder scales. Now I have bought a m500. Could you share some tips on how to tune them? Would only use it for controlling in the beginning. Great videos, really impressive work. Regards BZ
@Targetmaster1066 Жыл бұрын
Hi BZ - Thanks for the interest in my scale videos.. I have found, after playing with several M500 scales, that they need very little tuning. There are two areas that I think need addressing with the M500. The first is, although it has a metal body, it is very light, this can easily be fixed by sticking some weights (old lead bullets) in the base with a hot glue gun. The second problem - because the beam is printed on both sides it means that the "zero" pointer is around 5-6mm away from the beam, this means that, unless the beam is viewed from exactly the same place every time parallax error is possible when reading the scale. Buy a set of basic grain checkweights or make some up using your FZ 120i and I don't think you will have any trouble - Adding a camera allows you to see single kernel movement on these scales.

Hi! Great setup. I'm very interested in the bracket you've used to mount the camera. Great way to remove parallax error. Do you know where i could get a bracket?

Do you work on the old blue Pacific scales?
@Targetmaster10662 жыл бұрын
The old Pacific/Hornady "M" type scale was a good solid, reliable scale - Unfortunately I can't take on any scale work at the moment.
@mr.weaver26822 жыл бұрын
@@Targetmaster1066 I have a Hornady that was made by Pacific like your talking about. I got it new in box (NOS). I like it, but the pointer is thick and pretty far from the scale. Other than that it works really well. The one I really like is blue, I assume it was the model before the M because it’s an oil reservoir. The scale is the same except it says tenths all in red and the beam is the same as the model M. Well, mostly. The pointer is long and fine, finer than the old oil Redding brown bodies. The pointer is so close to the scale it’s crazy. I liked it so much I searched forever for a NOS example. When you get time and want to take on another scale let me know. I’d like to send you the NOS that took me forever to find. Edited to add: I’ve never seen this model of scale on KZbin.

Here's another early Pacific - oil damped with no graduated beam - you set the desired weight with the check weights provided. i.imgur.com/ijt2Y3B.png?1

Mine look like the first picture. You have a nice stash going there! I have six come Monday. I contacted a gentleman closer to me about tuning the Pacific but declined. So I found a nice M5 to send to him. It’s a little bittersweet really. I love my Pacific but I’ve always want an example of the M5. That all said, I’ll use the M5 for target shooting. I have my scales on a shelf that’s at eye level. To me the pointer and scale is second to none that I’ve seen. There could be better I just haven’t been exposed. I’m in my 30s and when these scales where in their hay days I’m assuming it was before then. Thank you for your responses and pictures. I appreciate your time.

What type of camera setup are you using for tour scale?
@Targetmaster10664 жыл бұрын
I use a very basic USB webcam, available on ebay for less than $10 - the only requirement is that it has manual focusing. They work on any windows PC/Laptop, most android phones and some android tablets.

Interesting...I wish that I could see the trickler better...it's kinda hidden behind the beam of the scale...
@Targetmaster10664 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the interest in my videos Gerry. The trickler is a Targetmaster auto-trickler which I also make, but this is the first showing of the new dedicated sensor I have made for the M500 scale. Unfortunately I have no annealers available at the moment but will probably make another small batch if time permits. Just too many projects and not enough hours. All my stuff is handmade in my small home workshop.

Want something like this that will work with a fire tablet....
@Targetmaster10663 жыл бұрын
I think there's hope JC. As far as I know the amazon fire works on a modified android system and some fire's support OTG (On the go). The camera's use a standard USB connector so an OTG cable is needed to convert the USB connector to micro USB for the tablet. There seems to be several apps to run webcam, usb camera and endoscopes on Amazon apps.
