First test after swapping from m52tub20 to m54b25 engine.

Engine: Stock M54B25
Transmission: 5sp manual, 3.38 welded rear diff
Tires: 195/65 r15 (2.3bar)
Mods: Welded diff, Tuned ECU, Cat delete, Muffler delete, Handbrake extension

great driving iam shocked.... adrenaline to the top. small tip when it rains and in winter always use fresh air from outside so windows never fog up fresh air with fans at 1 always running

It's completely stock apart from the welded diff. The exhaust manifolds are stock too, I simply cut the cat out

Hello bro beautiful driving and time spend btw. Question for the differential is it still the 320i's 168k type? If you swapped it too do you change only the diff or the transmission too?

Why would you swap the m52tub20 to the m54b25?!?!? Isn’t that m52tub20 the iron block that’s better I thought? I could only be hearing or seeing the iron block better because I was in forums on turbocharged ones so might not be better without a turbo involved, thoughts?

All m52 were aluminum block. I swapped mine because the old engine had a cracked cylinder head.
