He never left his wife....his wife herself married him so that vallalar will not be forced to marry any other women which will disturb his spritual journey. That's why she married him not in the intension of sexual life. She said this to vallalar after their marriage. The girl is his mama ponnu I guess..

@@rajeshkumarvs-mf8bx there is no need to abondon anyone during spritual practice. Likewise he never left anyone. But still he used to disappear many times and comes back. But he didn't had any sexual experiences with his wife. Because he wasn't interested on it and his wife knows it before thier marriage but due to their parents word he married and his wife was very adamant to marry him, he says she will only marry Vallalar. But later on its because for his spritual journey with the help of god.

Because he wasn't interested in marriage and other things but due to their parents words he married that too his wife was adamant to marry him. Because she wants to save his spritual growth and nothing should affect his journey. What we can understand from this is surrender to god, may be it seems difficult in the beginning but it's gonna be worth later. And god(Arutperujothi) never leave us suffering.
