An ultrasonic mist maker uses water to produce mist. Mist makers work on the principle of producing oscillation that cause water to turn into tiny droplets which vaporize to turn into fog-like cloud. As a result, on the positive vibration, high pressure waves force the cavitated water through the surface of the water as a very fine mist, which is easily absorbed into the air flow.
With the help of piezo ceramic disc, the ultrasonic mist maker immersed in water converts high frequency electronic signal which commonly has a resonating frequency of around 1.7MHz into high frequency mechanical vibration. Ultrasonic waves are focused on water, the water can’t follow the high-frequency movement of transducer so that a momentary vacuum is created on the negative oscillation of the transducer wherein the water cavitates into mist, this mist consists of water particles of the size of less than 5 microns, capable to penetrate to the tiny spaces, thus eliminating chances of any free water.
