While my husband and I visit family in Seoul, we would walk around late at night and buy a whole fried market chicken to take home and eat! They cut it in fours and put it in a paper bag, it was our favorite meal!

I was stationed at Camp Humphreys in 1981, and lived off post. Every Friday I would stop at a stall on the way to my apartment for fried chicken and potato salad. Thank you Maangchi for bringing back that wonderful memory. Will be trying this recipe.

I made this tonight. What a great flavor combination. The Chicken-Mu was only in the fridge for an hour, but man oh man was it good. I could eat a half chicken easily cooked like this. You could replace the roasted soy bean powder by toasting flour. It'll give you a similar nutty flavor.

@@fuchichuchi1805 in a pan I cook it on about medium heat moving it around frequently until it starts to turn tan. You'll be able to smell when it happens. It's done as it just starts to color. If you wanted to do it in the oven is put it in a 250 oven for maybe 10-20 minutes depending on your oven.

I can’t imagine my life or this world without Fried Chicken. And when the time comes that I’m about to die, I’ll be very sad because I won’t be able to eat Fried Chicken anymore. Oh this chicken looks so incredibly DELICIOUS! The sound of that CRUNCHINESS - I could hear it all the way over in the town next to mine! I will definitely be making this some time once I find a place to get that roasted soy bean flour! Thank you for sharing your lovely recipe Maangchi! Cheers!
