In this new Orcs Must Die game from Robot Entertainment, there's different war mages to choose from. Vaan who has a crossbow, Wren who wields a wand, Harlow who shoots a blunderbuss, Mac who fires a wrench staff, Kalos who sings a hammer, and Sophie who fights with daggers. There's also Max who uses the max crossbow.
There's tutorial videos, how to sections, and the practice arena all in the new hub called the order fortress where you get new traps in the shop, upgrade your heroes using the skill tree, and unlock new threads. There are numeous tips & tricks as well as secrets to uncover like hidden skins on maps with easter eggs.

I don’t see the barricades as a positive. The killboxes were what most people loved in the old games. The devs are already increasing the cap for solo, 2 and 3 players. Game is very tuned for 4 player coop and it shows. That being said, I’m having fun

I agree with your review. Me and a friend enjoying learning strats. So far we getting far without making deathboxes. Good challenges With variation. This game has potential. Did I notice they updated the fps today?

I have never played any OMD game, but it looks fun. Part of me is like maybe I should just get OMD 3 since I see a lot of people saying negative things about this one. But I love the roguelite aspect, so I may just buy this anyway. Thanks for the review, it does lean me closer to just buying it lol.

ALL the OMC games are fun in their own right. They're usually on a HEAVY sale for the first 3. Like 90% off most of the time. I'd wishlist and grab them ASAP on a sale

Just watched this after following your reply from another video. It seems like my other comment wasn't far off the mark. The game is simply less of a tower defense and more of an action arcade game than previous titles. To be clear, I think that is a good business decision despite not liking that change myself, as it will simply appeal to a wider audience and does lend itself more to co-op than ever before, so more copies sold in theory. Some may hate it, including myself, but it is just an objectively smart move. That said, I will miss the awesome vibes I got from previous games when I really nailed down a new high score on a map, which I argue did heavily rely on creativity where this is a lot more about action combat skills. However, not every new game is going to be made for me, even sequels to games I previous loved. I don't know if I will ever pick this up unless friends do, especially with the all the other amazing games coming out soon in full release or betas, like Civ 7, Dune Awakening, and Jump Ship. I will keep it mind all the same though. Thanks for the video.

Im not enjoying it at all, really looked forward tobit. I loved orcs3, butbthis is not fun om single player, maPs are far too big. The characters are awful in design, not inpressed at all. Graphics aren't great, not really. The game play isnt smooth either. This is poor, it needs a lot of work amd needs more singke player focus. I do like the upgrade syatems though
