Please note: Switch to "Desktop Notifications" in Google Calendar , instead of "Alerts" for Big Sur, Ventura.

Thanks! In system settings I also had to turn on alert notification for Chrome Helper (Alerts) to get the Banner to show up.

This only works when I have chrome open on my current desktop. If chrome is minimised or on another desktop environment the issue persists. Has anyone troubleshooted this issue? Any advice would help
