When he entered and the two TD drives. Then the roof caved in so to speak. Zappe was AWFUL In the second half. He never saw the field the rest of the season. @@samblack5313 y’all saying the way he played was based off his injury when he literally had more rushing yards than passing yards on his “hurt ankle”, a hurt ankle doesn’t compensate for terrible qb iq plain and simple. The fans weren’t cheering his benching, rather that the qb that has just won back to back games whilst playing amazing in macs absence was coming back on the field. Just because he WAS a qb1 doesn’t give him any entitlement to hold that title no matter what throughout the season. No one hates Mac, rather many mainly prefer the better qb which is Zappe currently with the offense.
