I’m from central California. I noticed I the Winter my hair gets crazy no matter what shampoo/conditioner I used to switch to. I always avoid hair products with harmful ingredients & avoid heat. Some how my hair appeared dull and thin so uncooperative especially when it’s longer passed bra length (I’m trying to grow long hair). I end up getting a hair cut and it looks better (fuller/healthier). Btw, I always enjoy all your mac review and since you mentioned how winter affect your skin, it sure affects my hair. Btw I was hoping to see your review on the new Milani Screen Queen foundation but haven’t gotten notifications on it.

I lived in NY for some time and I feel like my skin never got as dry as it did as has been the past couple of years living here in SoCal. I feel that perhaps because over there the four seasons are definitely apparent, my skin knows during winter--it's going to be really really cold but here in SoCal it doesn't know how to gauge because sometime--like the day I filmed this, it was for the most part sunny but the next day I remember it being super gloomy (it was getting close to the holidays). Anyways, I'm slowly but surely finding products for my skin that help with this weather! I am due for a cut as well so thank you for reminding me! As far as the Milani review...I'm very hesitant to try any new Milani products, to be completely honest with you, because I don't like/didn't care for one of their recent collaborations that they did with someone, so I have not tried the foundation, and upon reading about it, I'm not really sure if I'd care for it? I'm definitely a matte, all day, long lasting foundation type of gal, but if that does change, I'll definitely let you know. Thank you!

macAh0Lick Differnt weather/different climate can hard on skin to adjust. I heard from skin care professional they always change their skin care routine between Winter and Summer, because what used to work during Summer doesn’t work during Winter vise versa. I found that interesting because I’m alway focus on trying to finish a whole moisturizer or face wash before starting a new bottle and they last a long time. Wow I didn’t know much about Milani collaboration with any other brand. I’m was as clueless until my husband’s niece told me about their liquid eyeliner. She was my babysitter then....I took her home one early morning and noticed eye liner on her. I commented how nicely she did her eye liner within short timing since we kinda rushed out the door. Well, it was eye makeup from the day before. I’m like “Wow, what did you use? It looks as fresh as you just did your eye liner.” Yup, Milani liquid eyeliner. I had to get me one, then I moved on to their blushes. Never bother with anything else until Trend Mood did a live video on Screen Queen Foundation few weeks ago. I gave that one a tried too although I’m oily T Zone. Light to medium coverage works for me. Since its still Winter mode, I can’t tell if it’s too oily or too dewy atm. It might be a different story once Summer hit right lol.

Honestly I was growing more and more disappointed in myself for not uploading because I know you are all the ABSOLUTE BEST and never demand anything from me but I have these videos already filmed from MONTHS AGO, all I had to do is get on my butt and edit them but that’s the struggle with me! Life has been very hectic these past few months (update coming soon, I’m filming it later today) but I’m back! I hope you had a great holiday season, Happy Lunar New Year!
