Went to his concert with my best friend the week blue slide park came out, memorized every song in 5 days and it was the best concert I’ve ever been to, even got front row and was allowed to stand at the stage with about 20 other people including my best friend and I’ve been to many concerts including 3 of his and it was the best night of my life. My best friend died from suicide a few years later so when Mac died it hit me hard. Mac was a big part of our lives, our favorite artist and happed to look so much like my bestfriend. Rest In Peace Malcolm, you will forever go down as one of the greatest. Thank you for everything and your music impacting mine and Shane’s lives in the best way and giving me the best night I’ll never forget. You are truly missed♥️

This song takes me back to when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life after high school. Being a visual artist in a small town it was extremely difficult to see a future since most of my other classmates were accepted into State Universities and headed down the usual path. Many hours were spent in my room focusing, drawing in my sketchbook, painting, and creating. This song played in my headphones almost daily as I felt like I was alone being a creative in South Dakota. The following year I moved to Minneapolis and I got into design school. 3 years later I graduated and than moved to Los Angeles and found a job as a Graphic Designer.
