Thanks for the video. Sorry but looks ashy on you. Most Indians including me have olive undertone so need to buy the foundations with olive undertone.

Good effort, but the shade is totally off, it just looks ashy even after the oxidation. You need to buy a few shades close to your skin tone and swatch them pr if you dont know how to pick a shade, its best to get a shade test done by a MAC trained employee at the store. Better to get someone who knows what they are doing to select the shade. MAC has been around for so long, its what my mom's generation used.

She doesn't look ashy. If anything, it's due to hyperpigmentation in certain areas, which does show without a colour corrector. It is how it is for many of us. I understand. I have a similar skin tone. I wish I could get my exact shade as well. I have tried samples of every shade from NC 41 to NC45. Yea, have tried the NW variants as well. Anything past NC42 looked very muddy upon skin after like 10 mins. With NC42, a sheer application did some justice. Only correct match I found was in NC43 in powder foundation. But it oxides crazy and look so bad on photos with a flash. Smashbox looks good in photos, shades are mostly off.
