It's very interesting to me how Macbeth was initially very invested and believed in the witch's prophesies (of him becoming king and also later on when he visits them again), but in this act, he is trying to go against what the witches have told them. I think this ties very nicely with your interpretation of Cain and Abel's theme and the primary reason why he commits this murder.

About the theme of Cain and Abel, how can I back that up with evidence? I did a PEEZL paragraph on how Shakespeare presents and develops Macbeth in the following soliloquy.
