It's always interesting the things you can find on the inside of devices when they are opened...sometimes things you don't want to find...DOH! :P

I suppose that the dampness caused arcing in the internal connector, looked black enough. Then the dam power socket had to have a pug lol. Well done, another successfully repaired computer, money in the pocket paul :-D. Keep up the excellent work mate :-D. Banks are just a load of Bankers, with a "W", never there to help anyone.

do you think a magsafe to magsafe2 adaptor is a good solution instead of buying a magsafe2 charger? do you have or know of a list that has common or known problems with different macbook pros? thanks if i have a pro A1502 (early 2015 i believe, but not turning on, suspect water damage..) & i have the correct volt/amp charger, albeit a magsafe, using a magsafe to 2 adaptor (both genuine apple) the led flashes amber, what does that mean? if the moisture detectors are red, can they be reset or replaces? the A1502 the battery BMS pcb is a bit corroded! does the battery have to be connected in order for the logic board to give a green light? sorry, louis doesnt answer my posts! thanks
