Unfortunately some listerine went under the seal around the edge of my screen, even though I was very careful, I now have some very dodgy lines across my entire screen and a moisture stain over half of the screen. So be very careful if you decide to do this! It might be worth using frog tape or something to create an extra seal before starting, around the edge of the screen, just to be extra safe. God speed!

Took me 25 minutes to get rid of all the stain on my heavily damaged computer screen. Used microfiber cloth and Listerine only. Not as difficult to do as people are making it to be. The first 5 minutes it will get worse but keep rubbing gently in circular motions and you will see results. Ensure you don't pour too much liquid per time to avoid the risk of the solution getting underneath your screen.

Thank you for this.This worked! I was so close to having the screen replaced. Screen now good as new! But I did not use Listerine-the key here is alcohol! I used a very-high-alcohol-content (85%) hand sanitiser with a brand new microfibre cloth and I reckon the job was done in half the time it would take with Listerine. Good luck all.

40 mins and sorted thank you for this, I now have a new looking MacBook pro much appreciated I couldn't find any listerine but what I did have on nightshift was a new microfibre cloth and some hand sanitiser gel with alcohol in it it came up a treat thank you!
