Love your videos , youre saving us a lot of effort , just doing my share for the youtube algorithm ... keep it up . cant wait to see more. 1:1 RRR strategies seem very safe and logical to me ... the price has no other way other than up and down afterall , so even if we are slightly more accurate than a 50/50 coin flip , consistent profit making is guaranteed (considering fees to be 5% of each trade , where 20 trades undo one win ... almost negligible) , especially when trading for prop firms like FTMO , 1:1 RRR can be a good choice ... the only problem with the 30 minute MACD 1:1 strategy is that it gives a small number of entry setups. Suppose a 60% accuracy 1:1 RRR strategy with solid TP/SL where we have 2 trades per day on average... with a 1% risk per trade, such a strategy would generate 8% per month (lets say 6% with fees involved) which is HUGE when working with a large capital of a prop firm. FTMO provides up to 300K$ in funds , where 6% equals around 12K$ per month (after subtracting FTMOs cut). i am personally working on renko charts to design such a strategy , please share a systematic renko strategy if you found any and had the time to run a backtest.

Nice video as always! This is probably the best trading strat channel I've come across. I think when it comes to a trading strategy to make optimal we'd be better off having a ethos around the strategy, for instance with your engulfing video you clearly pointed out that the 200EMA is to determine long term trend, RSI for medium term, and finally the engulfing for short term. The beautiful thing there is that it incorporates both price action and indicators (even though a lot of people pit the two against eachother), and it's undeniable that price action has the first mover advantage over indicators.

Hi! You must add one more column to your spreadsheet “ time to GOA” it will be more interesting how much time is need to reach GOA, and then maybe some strategies that has smaller WR or GOA can reach or pass the strategies with big WR / GOA...

Your channel is one of the best in this topic. However some of us would like to increase their portfolio much faster, the 30m time frame with 2% risk gained 48%. Let's stick with one asset, that would take 6 months regarding to your test. I would like to see how much this strategy would work on 1-3-5m time frames, so scalpers could grow their account much faster if they want. Especially by trading 2-6 assests at the same time. here's the famous macd strat lol well macd is a really good indicator so yeah.. obviously I wouldn't trade it 1:1, with fees, spread and possible swaps that will turn profits to barebone if anything at all to be honest though I guess if you take a standard account with no commission and a broker that offer low to no spread on EUR/USD this can become "ok" assuming you trade during peak hours to keep spread at 0 or so also btw about the scammer warning I know you put a pinned comment first but you should either make a small vid about it or put the warning at the beginning, some viewers probably close the vid once they see the testing results so yeah anyway! great vid, looking forward to see what you'll do with this

Id really love to see a video that takes time into account. Say you only took trades between 5-6 est. Lots of people can only trade certain times and im curious how much it effects strategies.

I built an EA to trade this strategy and tested it on the EURUSD M30 for 2017 and 2018 and in that time it made 428 trades and lost $7,756.00 That is a massive difference The account size was $7,500 and the risk was 2 percent

Just one thing to you all, when he is using MACD close, the resultat is not the same when you go live. I changed to Open, and is now doing much better on my live account 🙂

@@kissgabor7601 If you use the closing price between 14:00-15:00, then during that hour the signal can both Bull up and Bear, because the variation in price may shift. But if you use the open price, then that entire hour has the same value. That means that during backtesting in tradingview, what you see is what you get :)

@@MrDolleno thanks for the answer, I went to MACD - Source - I see there OPEN / High / Low / CLOSE - is that it? I've found in some cases if I set OPEN than there is a delay in the crossover, as the Open Price was lower so I missed an earlier entry. What is the advantage that you've found?
