I bought myself a Doctor Dreadful lab a few years back, to make the edible lolly/candy spiders etc. It did not taste good, and was kind of a pain to make. Especially the gross taste/texture of the earwax and snot recipes (I got the kit that was a skull head). I probably would have tried to eat these if I had it as a kid. FYI it would probably be better to just buy some insect food moulds and then fill them with a jelly (maybe add less water so it holds together better), chocolate or candy goop.
