Burlington used to be pretty decent, like Ross-level quality. Now (at least the one near me) is only partially lit during store hours, like how Kmart was at the end of their life, and the clothes are... i don't know, stuff that I think only poor people would wear. Lot's of stretchy and synthetic fabrics. Edit: I offended poor people. I'm not going to double down, but I think it'd be kind of cowardly to delete my comment. So the polite description is those clothes seem like something people who have nowhere to be and no one to impress would wear. Clothes that aren't nice enough to wear to work, church, nor the club. Cheap clothes you'd throw on before you went out to put gas in your car. Clothes that could not be 'dressed up' with tasteful jewelry. Not saying that poor people have nowhere to be, but these are not clothes they should wear if they do.

7:57 A boilersuit is British slang from 1928 for coveralls/overalls. Coined bc it was chiefly worn by ppl who maintained boilers/furnaces. It's sort of like how jumpsuits are called such bc they were primarily worn, at first, by ppl who jumped out of planes w parachutes in 1919 (and later were seen as _v fashionable_ and so were worn by civilians). However, none of this matters in _this_ case bc this clothing item is short!! And therefore should be called a romper!! (Romper is a shorter version of a jumpsuit, originally created for children (and now in more modern times adults as well) to "romp" around in during summer/spring outdoor play.)

Literally, Levi's always eats up their pride collections like last year was a serve and they even pushed it out outside of pride month too so it wasn't just a June thing. For being the trendsetter of denim girl they know they're one of the pioneers of fashion and they gotta keep it up for everyone 🤭✨ Also we all knew Bratz was gonna eat it up with the dolls like they always do 💞💞

I just got off the phone with my mother screaming about the Bratz dolls. I was obsessed with them as a child (had every doll, all the movies, all the props) and Roxxi was my favorite because she had red hair and as a ginger myself, I latch onto red head characters like my life depends on it. My mom got a new car when I was in elementary school and it was red so we called it Roxxi and we had that car for years and always called it Roxxi. So the fact that she is a red head lesbian and I too grew up to be a red head lesbian was such a full circle moment for me that I almost combust. Thank you for making this video!!!! If you hadn't then I never would have known that my first childhood icon grew up to be just like me :,)

Queer is a slur in the way that you get really concerned when someone who looks straight says it. A group of middle schoolers walked up to me and my friends in an amusement park and asked if we were queers. We spent like a whole minute just looking at them trying to figure out if they were gay or trying to be problematic.
@break_the_galaxy Жыл бұрын
No offense, but how does someone "look" straight, and how do I avoid looking straight? I want other queer people to know I'm one of them and that I'm a safe person. Edit: thanks to everyone who gave advice, I appreciate it and I think I understand better now :]

@break_the_galaxy you're probably safe, there's usually a vibe that mean straights give out that is way different from actual queer people

10:54 skater skirts are a-line shaped skirts (as opposed to a bell shape) that are normally circle skirts or half circle skirts (means when you lay the skirt out flat with the waistband in the middle and it makes a circle). a skater dress is a dress with that type of skirt. a-line/circle skirts are the only type of skirt i like wearing because it's the only flattering skirt shape on me imo
