Oh they've done so much more than that. They've sold Native American Headdresses as accessories, they've made clothes and statements that said goth clothing is for white people, they've been fat phobic in response to people asking for larger, more inclusive sizing. There used to be some artists on Etsy, as well, but unfortunately, the wave of larger businesses using Etsy has drowned them out. I'll edit/update this comment when (if) I can find the sellers I was thinking about. Edit: Haven't been able to confirm it, but Fest Fabulous is a small business that I think is ethically run. Ditto to Zolnar. I don't think they're registered by the BBB, so I can't double-check. Used to be easier before mass-manufactured items took over Etsy.

That’s one of my favorite parts of Hot Topic. They’re basically the only place I can go and get Pride stuff the rest of the year. Spencer’s also has some but Spencer’s feels very claustrophobic to me.
