In order to get proper education about traditional medicine is to interview a traditional healer like Dr khehlelezi, he is a very popular traditional healer from KZN.
@theblackpoorsouthafrican99673 жыл бұрын
This happens more often than we would like to admit. Personally, I've seen it with men. Most men use these when their ego's are brusied, when the woman is significantly more successful or when he's just a loser nje. But I always say, those who use dark magic will never win. God and our ancestors are real and will continue to fight on our behalf. Please pray, stay in prayer and cleanse on a regular

Umuthi back then wasn't a bad thing. E.g If a husband didn't pay attention to his wife, his wife would go to the parents, and with "permission" of the parents would go to a healer for the muthi. The muthi would then be presented emasamu by the father in law to tell his ancestors that "hey my sons is doing xyz may you guys do the things and lead him back to focus on his wife and home." it had the blessings of the ancestors and the parents. The muthi would then be given to the wife so that she could use it on her husband, the husband would then use the muthi (knowingly/unknowingly I can't remember) and it would work. Nowadays umuthi is a one sided thing. Got this information from an insta live of Makhosi Mlambo. He is so wise and you learn something during every live.

Love how this episode started, at the beginning no one was clued up about the topic but when you continue watching the podcast, it turns out ladies have knowledge
@theZulugoddess3 жыл бұрын
Welcome back ladies! Each time the Podcast & Chill Network tackles the topic of ‘umuthi’ I always wish they could have someone with more knowledge because there is so much the public does not know about traditional healing. It does not help that it was once illegal in South Africa to practice our culture, so so much knowledge is missing. There is a difference between ukulapha nokuthakatha and while inyanga can know umuthi to do both, not all izinyanga do witchcraft because ama Dlozi who gifted them with the knowledge do not allow dark spirituality. I believe this is a teachable moment and so I wish you could bring in gifted people to clarify things for the Chillers.

I remember being at bus station and overhearing this 1 lady who was on her way to get muthi to bring back her fiancé. She says she was in the taxi, when the stranger next to her told her not to go to where she’s going & not to do what she’s planning to do. She says she jumped off the taxi & went back home. A friend of mine started hearing voices (demons) swear at her after using muthi.

@Rachel Mlosy , sorry people are finishing you like this 😂🤣😅, Us Chillers can be Angry at times, Tshepi is the Host of *"On The Table Show"* that is why she has to lead the conversation , the other ladies are co-hosts. its not that she is dominating she has to lead the conversation.

Intention with muthi works the same way “new-age” spirituality uses rocks with different energies for different things. The same way we do manifestation chants, mood boards and vision boards 🤷🏽♀️. Sangoma work the same way people go for tarot readings. Like the panel said, it’s all in intention. Our negative view on muthi or african spirituality as a whole is all rooted in anti-blackness.

Umuthi is nothing but a Zulu word for Medication. Now that means a Panado is umuthi so as ARVs.......but people use ARVs to make Nyaope does that means ukuthakatha? My understanding is anyone who is ofundele uluphilisa umuntu whether medical or traditional they are both capable of killing a human being, it's just that what happens in theatres and surgerys never get spoken about even if it were, because it's western it's not such a bad think. Maybe we need to understand and separate issues. Using umuthi doesn't automatically equates to ukuthakatha.
