MacGyver Amazed!! No Soldering led Lamp Repair using only a Candle !

LED lamps often break, however you don't need to buy new ones, the bulbs can be easily fixed without the need for special tools like soldering irons.
In this video I present 2 easy ways to repair blown led lamps just using a candle!!

Topics like this should be required at the high school level. Too many people have no idea how easy simple things can be repaired. Home repair is almost a lost skill. I learned it from my dad, and my son learned it from me.

Con el estaño remanente en la placa, solo apliqué flux para que soldara mas rapido. Saludos !

shorting out the bad one will only make the light shine again for a very short time, in a few days it will just go out again. this is in no way a long term fix. you can also short out the bad one with anything that conducts electricity. even aluminum foil a smal peice will do the same thing, and that yellow cover will pop off very easy.

Agreed, but he didn't short out the bad LED element. The lamp has several LED modules, one of which died. He replaced it with an LED element from another lamp.

My LED bulbs are dying way, way before their rated 20000 hours. This should me salvage some of them.
