6 months in to using this mouse and here are my notes: - really good for gaming and casual use - ergonomic design, feels really nice and comfortable to use - cable is sturdy and is still working like brand new - scroll wheel is still surprisingly intact - driver is really difficult to set up (maybe I'm doing something wrong but its certainly harder to set up than my previous gaming mouse) - started having double clicking problems 5 and a half months in - DPI buttons also started malfunctioning - becomes unresponsive in the middle of heavy use, (gaming) when turned off and on it somehow switches DPI's Overall, I am pretty happy with the product. For the price, I really cant expect long-term durability. Will be replacing my mouse soon, but the Machenike M8 was a great experience.

The bluetooth and 2.4ghz interference is due to the case ports issue. Not a signal interference. (crappy usb port wiring)

Between the Machenike M8 and Rakk Talan which should I get? I like Talan because you can change the cover to Mint, which is my PC setup's color! But I like the build and design of this one more even though it's more expensive.

this is pretty good but I would like them to make an actual battery operated mouse. similar to basilisk hyperspeed and g304. I don't like using my mouse with a chord so I prefer just swapping out the battery and I'm good to go

I downloaded the m830 software but when i try to run it on my laptop it immediately says "device is disconnected" I've connected both the wire and the wireless and even restarted the computer but it seems to not detect the mouse. how can I fix this software bug?

Im going to give you an example when you right click there is a time in between the click and the response to the screen .very very good mouses have low latency which means it can respond faster

Actually the latency mode here isn't actually about the connection Latency. The latency that you can configure is actually the "Polling Rate". Its basically the latency in which the Mouse will detect if the mouse is still moving. Theres a millisecond delay for your mouse to realize that you already stopped moving your mouse. Higher Polling Rate means more mouse accuracy. This can really help when you usually Flick in FPS Games. As for the Connection Latency. USB Wireless Adapter for Mouse are in default 2.4 ghz. So you shouldn't worrry much about it

Polling Rates aren't actually noticeable unless you differentiate two different mouse with different Polling rates side by side. Most cheap mouse has 125 Polling rate by default which is 8 milli seconds delay.
