An excellent tutorial!!! I have yet to try out my embroidery machine-a little intimidated to be honest, but you have made the stabiliser/hoop step a lot less stressful with your clear instructions:) Thank you!!

very good information...A question that I and many have and hopefully you can help. How do I put a placement stitch on my stabalizer then my twill. Your answer will help many. Thank you for all your information.

Hello Hemi, Many Baby Lock Machines have a basting stitch that will automatically get placed around the perimeter of your design prior to stitching. Then, all you have to do is stitch the first color which will always be that basting stitch. If your machine does not have a basting function, you can choose from the “shapes” menu on any of our machines and choose a square or rectangle shape that has the single run stitch for its stitch property. Enlarge or scale down the shape to fit your intended embroidery frame size and then stitch that first before adding your embroidery hoop. We have a full library of videos that go into great detail on how to get the most out of your Baby Lock machine on our sewedclasses.com/ site. You can also jump right to the video where we show this technique here sewedclasses.com/lets-get-started-embroidery

I have an Apple Mac Book Air that I put my designs to from Embroidery Designs & I used PES. When I put these designs on my USB drive & tried to transfer to my Verve I could not see any designs. A designs are for 4X4 designs. Can you help guide me to what I need to do? Thank you

Hi Doris, please check the design is in the PES or DST format. The design must also be within the 4x4 design page. The designs will need to be in a folder, not a zipped folder. If you have any additional questions our customer support team would be happy to assist. You can leave them a message at 800-313-4110 or you can fill out the online form here: www.babylock.com/support/contact

It's easier to talk than to do. For hooping a loose piece of fabric, you can eyeball it to aliyn the hoop and the frame together. It is not the case for hooping a piece of garment, for example, a T-shirt in which you can't see the stabilizer and the frame because they are underneath. You alyne them by touch, and that is the most difficult part to make it correctly.. Hope you can explain more on this and do a demo.

Well the part that you skipped on how to position and center the fabric in the hoop who was the part that was the most important and you left it out. Anybody can put a piece of oversized Fabric and a hope, that's not what we were wanting to learn, we need tips & tricks on how to position the fabric and Center in that hoop
