The sound design of the music in the background and the atmosphere it creates is fucking incredible!

This is the best drum synthesizer ever made, the sounds it can make are out of this world and the interface is almost too easy to use ;) Its expensive yes, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better perfomance tool than this, its so easy to lay down floorkilling grooves it almost feels like cheating! If you are serious about percussion, get one, and yes, I strongly recommend you to get the UW.

@@MystiskmusliHave owned a SPS-1 UW+ since they came out. Own a low serial number SIDstation (Elektron’s first synth from the 90s). Been synthesizing percussion for almost 3 decades. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about calling the Syntakt a ‘shitbox.’

i miss the times when electronic music culture had a bit of an edge like this. it all feels too twee now. i want instruments that make me feel like i am learning to pilot a starship not make an espresso. i wonder if and when the trend will cycle back. hopefully soon.

Grass is always greener. We didn’t realise the 90s were the good ol’ days until we looked back. Let’s appreciate how vibrant electronic music is.
@cymbolic_space1832 Жыл бұрын
@@Tapepusher you are right, there sure is a lot to celebrated about considering how accessible everything is. Sometimes i think about how the accessibility is one of the reasons the scene is oversaturated. it can be harder for the creme to rise to the top. which isnt necessarily a good or bad thing, but i believe it to be an observable truth.

Nice many thanks guys! I was looking for a tutorial as I am using an older Machine Drum and want a complement to the manuals.

5:40 can someone please clarify what he means by the UW having 130 machines? Looking at the manual, it only has a few more than the non-UW model
@makeshiftsavant9 ай бұрын
Nevermind, found the answer. Check the manual section appendix C-2 part: Sysex Assign machines. It mentions the 56 missing machines are 48 ROM machines and 4 sets of Rec/Play for the RAM machines
