@@joshmac3451 funny how I can find no evidence backing up your claim. You must be talking outta your own ass. Sure, he didn't write the chorus, he used what is called a sample in the chorus (I guess he was too lazy to think of his own, but if it helps, it helps 🤷🏼♂️) on the other hand, the verses were 100% written by the man, the myth, the legend, himself. MGK. Finally, the song has a message in it. Messages are one of the few things that has been missing in modern music these days and this song is about not giving up despite the obstacles set in your way.

Makes me tear up. I listened to this song at my lowest point, walking to get to three jobs every day. This song fits that situation to a T.

Every rapper now dead had cried for help. We need to be more observant.. Need to change the pattern. No matter what still legends when they dead. But they have more power to touch us when they alive. When they can show us that life can suck but we can get through it. We need these kind of rappers in 2021 to give us inspiration. Mental health is going down the drain & we need hope. Mgk thank you for all your inspiration, for being their for the people who feel alone, like nobody understands. Thank you for showing us that we can make it through. Pain doesn't have to control our lives. We can fight addiction. We are capable of sobriety, of loving ourselves. Everyone is struggling right now. Stay strong everyone. Our generation is going through a lot, but people are more aware of mental health. People are more supportive, more understanding. We are going to get through this. I believe in all of you Mgk we love you. You are very influential to many people. We can't lose another legend. We are here to support you the best that we can. We can fight depression, anxiety, etc. We can recover. Even if addiction has relapses we can still recover. We are not going to ignore your cries for help in your music. We need to come together as fans to do everything that we can to reach him. To let him hear us. To support him. 🖤

Usually when im down, feeling happy, sad or, want some extra motivation. Real shit the one artist I always go to is MGK. I wish one day i can meet you in person to tell you how much your music got me out the gutter or made me successful in my life. First song i ever heard was chip off the block and ever since i was hooked to how inspirational you are man. Seeing you grow as well as an artist is a beautiful thing and i wish but nothing for success for you and your family. A lot of people will hate on me but their just mad and sad because they have their ouwn issues they dont know hoe to deal with. Lace the fuck up! Est for life! 🤘
