I've been using machines for workout and have strengthened my muscles at greater level without any fear of injury. I do fear free weights due to fear of injury, in most of Indian gyms spotters are not available to correct the form and assist
@not..A..channel Жыл бұрын
bro, i was also scared of free weights, for example bench press; but i started from lifting the bar and now after 3-4 months for training; i can put 17.5 + 17.5 kgs. keep training with the lightest weight you can comfortably lift, and then add gradually 2.5 kg plates every week.

You can build bigger muscle with machine but your body will remain weak due to unused stabilizers. #My 6 months experience with machines.
@tanveersingh4161 Жыл бұрын
Advantages of free weights - 1- Use of stabilizer Muscles ( Stabilizer provides stability to some parts of our body so that prime movers can work more effectively) prime movers are those muscles which we actually feel while doing exercises ex- in case of dumbbell bench press chest and triceps are prime movers. Stabilizer Muscles works more effectively when we do free weight exercises. 2- More creativity We can perform different types of movements and it helps to strengthen weak movements. 3- Cost and versatility 4-Power training Advantages of Machines 1- Better control and safety 2- Specifically targets muscles to train weaker muscles 3- Very Heavy Lifting 4- Control momentum COMPARING FREE WEIGHTS AND MACHINES IS LIKE COMPARING FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. BOTH ARE IMPORTANT FOR US. FOR OVERALL PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT COMBINATION OF BOTH, FREE WEIGHTS AND MACHINES IS BEST 🔥 Pro tip :- Prefer machines to free weights when you're tired
@rakeshmohanty9827 Жыл бұрын
Its always the combination of both machine as well as free weights doing barbell Squat is good and combining it with leg press and isolation movements in leg day make it better Always the free weights act as a cake and machines are the cherries on the top of cake So why not to combine them to get most of them No need to do only free weights movements like squats bench deadlift 3×week if goal is not powerlifting(cause powerlifting game is to improve SBD So obviously u need to prioritise those free weights movements frequently rather than machines) we can do them once a week and combine machine movements too and gain basic strength...

Hello sir , I have a question to ask , I kindly request you to answer it please :- Are mini workouts throughout the day as effective as a whole one session of workout ? for example , if I do push-ups in morning and squats in afternoon and lunges in the evening or should I do all these exercises at the same time ?

Sir 1 question --Mike mentzer advocated Heavy duty or high intensity training which primarily includes 1-2 sets of ecentric and concentric failure and resting abt 12days per MUSCLE PART , opposite to that what is being done.. and on internet also i can find many people who say it's the best thing they have done and gained a lot of muscle... Sir what's ur thought on it.. I am confused
@KartikDadlani Жыл бұрын
Hmm , interesting topic , very interesting indeed , MIKE MENTZER pioneered the heavy duty training regime , while all the other bodybuilders of his era went to the gym daily and for hours , he went for like only 1 hour or so , and working days per week were also less in comparison... And then after him , do u know who adopted the HEAVY DUTY , HIGH INTENSITY , training system , it was 6 time Mr.Olympia DORIAN YATES , MENTZER and Yates were friends and although I'm not sure but I think MENTZER coached Yates too...but you know what , even DORIAN didn't approve of everything MENTZER said , even he used to do more sets more exercises , albeit heavy and high in intensity ... So what does the science say , what do the current weight training experts say , the general notion is that you , do more volume to stimulate hypertrophy via more sets , limited exercises and although MENTZER said , do one set take it to failure , the current literature pertaining exercises science says the fatigue induced by failure is just too much , you'll have the strength to do more but your mind will be just , well , blown to pieces , so do 3-4 exercises , take every set near failure , leave 2-3 reps in reserve and you're good to go ..

Is doing bench presses bit harder for people with longer hands? I am quite a lenky person and I have been having a hard time on increasing my bench strength. Kindly shed some light on this
@KartikDadlani Жыл бұрын
Although it really doesn't depend on length of arms , but since you have long arms , it's a practical observation that you'll have the weight moving more distance per rep , in comparison to another person with not so long arms ....but that is all technical stuff and albeit it counts , it doesn't carry much weightage , the length of your arms is probably having a negligible effect on your strength , I'll say watch your form, Bach arched , chest up , shoulders retracted and push the weight with your chest , feel the pectorals with each rep and watch your nutrition , protein intake specially...

Sir whats your thought on Mike mentzer saying protein is overhyped , and it is so coz their is commercial interest in it. And his recommendations to eat well balanced diet full of carbs calorie and just around 20-30 percent of protein in it?
@KartikDadlani Жыл бұрын
Hey there , with all due respect to MIKE MENTZER , HE WAS A LEGEND , but he was also a little crazy , for example he took METHAMPHETAMINE as per workout ..can you imagine that..that's literally crazy...he made some bold claims but they had no scientific backing , only his word...protein is very essential for muscle building and it should be high quality protein , all 9 essential amino acids , ideally any protein source which is animal based , whey , chicken , eggs ,and although Akshay sir has told not to self promote , I think I can provide u valuable information.. I have an entire video covering the topic of how muscle tissue is built , in which I cover different sources of protein and how each of them affects muscle building...if u want , u can check it out...

is it safe to have 10 to 12 whole eggs a day for person with high triglycerides basically high LDL and hight TOTAL cholestrol .
@KartikDadlani Жыл бұрын
As long as you're within your caloric limits , whole eggs are safe , it's not like the fat in the eggs is going to increase your triglycerides and give u a heart issue , what does create an issue is a gross caloric surplus , 10 whole eggs would mean around 37 grams of good fat , but it's only good if it's withing your maintainance calories or whatever caloric goal you've set for yourself...if you're not into counting calories and macros , i would suggest start doing it , you'll get hold of exactly how much fat is going inside you and if u want that much or not...

@KartikDadlani Жыл бұрын
Nothing special happens...carbs are not bad , carbs are not making u fat , what you're suggesting towards is a ketogenic diet and considering its restrictive nature , you'll only end up suffering....if u want to lose fat , focus on creating a caloric deficit , and include some protein in your diet...as long as you're in a sustained caloric deficit , you'll lose weight , particularly fat if u do it correct ...
