the dungeons and dragons subplot was FANTASTIC. as a dnd nerd, it is hard to find a balance between a funny, wild, roleplay centered experience and a number crunchy, stats driven, strategy focused experience. if you follow the rules too hard, it can become a chore, but they're also there for a reason. that being said, how much you want to abide by all the rules, all depends on the group you're playing with and what they prefer. a good dm can find a way to satisfy both kinds of players at the same table, but it takes some patience (which Cartman has NONE of lmao) and practice for sure.

Some of the newer South Park seasons, like 19, 20, and 23, are structured as continuous stories with closely connected episodes. The COVID specials follow this trend too, so it’s best to watch them all from start to finish to get the full context. Or you could be confused with some ongoing plot you don’t know about. Here's a quick summary, written by GPT 'cause I’m lazy (but I’ve seen them all and checked it ): Season 18 (2014): Rating: Very positive. Plot: Loosely connected episodes with themes like startups, freemium games, and modern tech. Season 19 (2015): Rating: Very high. Plot: Tightly connected, focusing on political correctness and gentrification. Season 20 (2016): Rating: Mixed. Plot: Cohesive storyline around the 2016 U.S. election, internet trolls, and "Member Berries." Season 21 (2017): Rating: Mixed, but some popular episodes. Plot: Less connected, with ongoing storylines like Cartman and Heidi’s relationship. Season 23 (2019): Rating: Very good. Plot: Focuses on Tegridy Farms, Chinese censorship, and cancel culture. COVID Specials: Rating: Very good. Plot: Continuation of the main storylines, focusing on the impact of the pandemic.

This is a real thing. Forcing men to be surrounded by women all the time is stressful. Men deserve their own spaces as well. It's not just women who have stressful lives and need a place to relax. Men and women do also play differently (though not exactly how Cartman means)...you have to act differently around women....which goes back to stress. I don't mind being a gentleman, but sometimes you need a place where you feel safe to let loose and not worry about being watched all the time.

I think this episode didn't really cause massive outrage, at least from my online experience, as a leftist myself me and my other leftists friends love south park😂 I think the thing is Matt and Trey are rationalists so they will make fun of anything and everything, hence why there is outrage about the show from all kinds of people from all political sides. I feel the only issue someone would have with this episode, is it presenting a false image of transwomen in sports, but it also shows girls beating the boys in games which stereotypically considered boys games.

This episode was and is still accurate to this day when it comes to males intruding in women’s sports + taking opportunities away from us in our own spaces. When the italian boxer started crying on social media when she lost, saying she was never punched that hard, all the woke people and jk rowling started accusing her of being trans or wtv bs - none of it being true. It may not be the 'norm' but women like that exist everywhere, every country, colour, race...etc. Some women are just big, strong, and gifted in some kind of martial art. Yeah, in this episode there's an extremely exaggerated portrayal of what the transphobes are afraid of, but it's not a situation that's ever happened in real life. There have been tons of trans athletes since 2004, if I remember correctly, and none of them have made it to the news until the recent wave of heavy transphobia, where every victory has been demonized and every loss (much more common) completely ignored. Transphobia has always been rooted in mysoginy, and that's why when there's a cis woman slightly outside the stereotypical range for women, like Imane, they're immediately accused of not even being a woman. Bigotry is such a harmful thought process.
@-d-41824 ай бұрын
F off you woke clowns. You're all the same.
@yourgrammarisnotverygood18274 ай бұрын
Trans people should not be in women's sports because the whole point is that cis women need to be competing with other cis women or the non cis women will dominate. However that whole situation and the backlash was incredibly cringe to watch a bunch of invalids (and most of them are traitors to the US) whine about a cis woman winning a women's sport. If you can't prove someone isn't a cis woman then maybe you need to spend less time yapping and more time getting your shit together. Trump supporters have a horrible name that they earned, but those fools do anything they can to make themselves look worse.

Because, like you already know, previously each episode of South Park had it's own arc which got resolved in the same episode (with few exceptions like Cartman searching for his father or Imagination-Land).
