Great job showing how common connectors can be found for various vehicles..

Thank you. I just wish there wasn’t so many different types of connectors and pin types, it can get hard to figure out what they are.

Enjoy your videos. The municipality that had your services is truly fortunate…

I have a 2011 UD2300 rollback, same code. I have noticed that it doesn’t use up the def fluid after 2000 miles. I am going to check later. Thanks

I liked the music and enjoyed the video :) Nice to find parts you were not sure would work that actually do the job.

Thank you. It was a lucky find. The dealer couldn’t find the connector at all. I would have had to get the harness it was on if I went through them.

Do you know what I should be getting by checking those wires. Should I just be reading 12 volts?

I got same spn 5394 fmi 5 code n i replaced this connector but agin came up after 1200 mile driven.

Did you do a resistance check on the injector? I believe it should be between 11-18 ohms. Heat can change a resistance so you would want to check it when hot as well. If it’s within the spec you may need to check the wiring farther up.

You must be getting ready to switch those trucks over to winter duty. Hopefully we will have a nice mild winter this year.

Corode wire issues on trucks i the Nlrth east are pretty common, esp close to the connectors. Anywhere it snows alot actually, salt. I have seen those valves leak coolant into the dosing part of the valve.

Thats something to keep in mind if I start having coolant loss. Thank you. I’ve had to change the coolant lines already. It was actually pretty difficult to find them. The dealer had a hard time getting them.

Hey, do you know Owen Benjamin? He's working on a project called Beartaria in Idaho. Perhaps kindred spirits.. PS Completely unrelated to this video and mechanical repairs in general.

I don’t exactly know what to expect on those wires. If I would guess your gonna get 12 volts every time it fires the injector. It’s not gonna be constant and probably needs to warm up the exhaust before it starts firing. That’s just a guess though. I’m also not sure without a wiring diagram if it will have a constant positive or negative feed to the injector. That’s a long way of saying basically I don’t know.
