How to program the five IR buttons on the MX3 air mouse

In this tutorial I will show you how I've programmed my power button for my Android TV remote and the power button for my TV remote on to the MX3 remote. You could do this with other keys or other functions of the remote. It does not have to be power. It could be volume or Channel changing options play around and I hope you have fun with this. Also...my remote works a little different...its the same as he did it but you have to press the button on the original remote again before you hit the TV button. It goes: hold TV button until flash, hit original controller button and if it read it it flashes faster, then hit the button on air mouse you want to program (any of four buttons can read almost any infrared thing there is), then hit the button on original remote again and then push TV button.

I too have to use this method and Android box work perfectly can power OFF and ON. But for my Samsung TV, no matter how I tried, can only power OFF the TV, unable to power ON.

Hi! Mine looks just like yours but it won't work. If I long press TV button I get continous light, I only get blinking if any button is pressed, the blinking goes away when it gets signal from other remote.. but the programmed button does not work. Can you help me?

I'm having the same problem, and I think it means the IR transmitter is broken in our remotes. When I point a regular remote at my smartphone camera and press any button, I can clearly see the bright IR light that it emits, but when I do the same after programming the air remote buttons, I get no IR light emitted.

I think it does that when the USB receiver isn't plugged in, or when it is low on the batteries.

Working good on Android TV box can OFF and ON using the programmed button. But for TV, I can only power OFF could not power ON. Still need to use the TV Remote Control to power ON the TV. Anyone knows what I can do to solve this?
