Hey guys, white people did say that they didn't like Kendrick's album because it was too black or they couldn't identify with it. I understood where they were coming from and why they felt that way. I did not get offended at all. Matter of fact, there were black people out there saying the same thing. That said, my comments about this album was said with that understanding in mind. I stand by them and I am not taking them back. It is far from a racist comment. If you have a problem with it, tough. I said Kendrick's album was "too black." And if I can say that about his album, I can say what I said about this album. Seems pretty fair to me.

Why we hate Macklemore (No I'm not an Anti-Pop rap purist) 1. His flow and melodramatic inflections make him sound like a slam poetry reject 2.While he does tackle hard hitting issues he often does it in a way that offers little to no real insight often resorting to pulling at heart strings rather than providing anything poignant or interesting 3. His terrible Hooks sound like the came straight off a generic EDM anthem. 4.Ryan Lewis has a knack for making souless, unbearably cheesy instrumentals that sound like they were taken straight from the score of a second rate Disney picture.

All I can say was....my girlfriend and I saw Macklemore in concert in LA in June. YG came on stage. It was amazing! I love Macklemore's true heartfelt songs. Plus, I'm a hue hip hop fan. This album wasn't my favorite. But, it was not garbage.
