@@mckenziewilson4459 that's a nice thought, but no. Hes dead. I know because i was doing the exact same drugs he was when he died, except even harder and smoking fentanyl directly. I know exactly what he was going through. And when i got sent into a spontaneuous seizure from my overdose for those 5 minutes, I understood exactly what happened to him. He was just alone when he died, and i wasn't. I think that was a big reason why he didnt wake up but I did honestly.

Sounds like a track I can engage with, not a song that you'd be playing in the background while having a smoke shesh, it's a good. freaking. single. The improvement is there. I know exactly what he meant when he said this. Many others who have played with drugs to the point of overdosing and waking up from it do too. They know the feeling of your heart racing from the psychological realization that for those moments, you lost complete control of your consciousness and almost didnt wake up. And the feeling of stopping for a day and then picking up again anyways. Because trying to feel emotions that deeply, to the point of almost dying, really does feel like you're getting closer to feeling whatever "God", is.

Joel Therrien Watching Movies really touched me to the core. It's sad that I only see how good he really was, watching his complete work after his passing. He could've made so much more beautiful music, but alas Mors Vincit Omnia

Anyway, this song makes me feel like this album is going to be a MUCH more mature Macadelic, and that's the best news I've gotten all day, because Macadelic has some really great moments. And if Mac capitalizes on the potential it had this might be the best album to come out this year.
@ThatXoneXnigguh9 жыл бұрын
Dan FInnessee Did you listen to Faces? That's when I found out he changed.
@diebyeguy9 жыл бұрын
The Notorious N I've followed mac since the beginning. Well since KIDS. So yes, I've heard Faces. But the Watching Movies and Faces Mac doesn't seem to be what we're going to get on this album. He doesn't sound monotone anymore, but he doesn't sound like the goofy kid he was on Blue Slide Park either. It sounds like a mature Macadelic. On Macadelic he sounded like a kid who suddenly became self-aware and had a lot of interesting things to say, but the new style he brought hadn't matured fully. Here it sounds great, but that's just based off this one song. But the lyrical content still sounds a little bit like Faces Mac though "What's a GOD without a little OD?" That was a pretty good line too.
@StickArenaNow9 жыл бұрын
Dan FInnessee K.I.D.S. was super dope though, best mixtape he made

I dig kids alot but imo mac has just been getting better and better
@diebyeguy9 жыл бұрын
Fat Guy WTFTheLeftIsBigger KIDS was for sure a dope mixtape. Best he's made? I don't think so. To be honest. I think Mac is one of the literally handful of artists who progressively become more...impressive with each album, besides Blue Slide Park. I fucking hate that album. But at the moment, I truly think Faces is his best work and it sounds like GO:OD AM is going to be better than Faces. Mac Miller and Kendrick are the only two artists who I can't remember a single moment of being disappointed by...besides Blue Slide Park of course.
