Thank you. I hope you've figured it out. If not you can always try and ask me here in the comments and I'll see what I can do to help.

CSLdesigns Embarrassed to ask...it's the places on the video where you do the square knots. I should look up basic knots to get that. Wanted to ask about your board, did you make it or buy it ? I see it is covered with something, may I ask what it is ? What type of glue do you use ? Is non-yellowing hot glue appropriate ? About the cord you use, I'm sure you have this information somewhere, I am so not tech savvy at navigation the internet....where would I find the information on your materials, size of cord, type, etc. So sorry to be a bother. Just admire your Angel and your work and want to get it right. Thank you so much for your video/s and your help. Take care.

Verne Garlock Hello. Am really sorry I haven't replied till now. I didn't realise you had left another comment as I didn't get a notification through youtube. I hope I can still help though. Don't worry about your questions. No need to be embarrassed ;-) If you're still unsure about the square knots, you can either find loads of videos here on youtube, or you can look at some of my other videos where I maybe explain it a bit better. The board I am using is known as a project board/macrame board and you can either buy it in many bead shops or even online. It only costs £4-5 so not that expensive. It is covered with some thin plastic which you are meant to leave on. I have since taken it off for the purpose of videos as it reflects the light in the camera, but it gets a little messy without the plastic on. As for glue I have a few different types I use for different purposes. I like to use E6000, Hypo Cement and occasionally super glue. I haven't tried using a hot glue, but am not so sure how it would work as the cords might react with the heat a bit as you can melt the cord with heat if it is made of nylon or similar material. The cord I used for the angel, and in general use a lot is 1mm satin cord. And you're not a bother at all, am just sorry I didn't reply to your comment until now. I hope you're doing well.

I was just wondering is there any way to turn these in to 3D ? I was wondering if it's possible to add another dress so it could stand up? So it could be a tree topper maybe

Hi, i love your tutorials. Could you possibly please let us know how many cords and approx lengths at the start? One reason is that I might not have enough of certain colours.

I am having a hard time finding the Satin cord, I am in the US, What size board are you using?
@anitaarriola715010 жыл бұрын
i am dispionment of it cause there is no capitions....... but your angel is sooo beauiful,,,want know what kind of string and size you have working on it and what is length is.... thank you anita,,, i am try make me one of those,,,,,you did great job,, but no capition... cause i am deaf..
@CSLdesigns10 жыл бұрын
Anita Arriola I'm glad you like it. I am very sorry about the lack of captions, but this was one of my first videos and I was still learning the best way of doing things. The type of cord I am using in this video is 1mm satin cord, but you can also use other types and thicknesses of cord. The thickness of the cord will determine how large your angel becomes. For instance I have made some with 0.4mm nylon thread and they are earring size. The length of the cords are in the description box. I hope that was helpful, otherwise please feel free to always ask :-)

HI Christina! For your foreign speaking customers, you can use this translator. All you have to do is copy their statements into the translator and it translates to English. www.bing.com/translator/

Peggy Walle You can then type your English response and it will translate to their language, and then you copy the translated answer to your customer in the reply box. :D

very beautiful. But i not understand how finish the wings :D.
@CSLdesigns10 жыл бұрын
marise kuhn Thank you. Do you mean the part where you finish off the wings my cutting off the excess cord? If so you can either use glue and cut them down like I did, or you can cut them down to a short length and then singe the ends with a lighter to secure them in place if you are using a synthetic cord. I hope that made sense and helped a bit. If not please feel free to ask again :-)
