This lens seems to be amazing! I got the macro 100mm 2.8 IS from canon, and I'm using it on My Lumix s5 , really great combination when I take off the IS, because have some trouble, work great justo with the body stabilization, hope someday I could buy the s5IIx and new S Line lenses

Another good thing about this lens is that the new motor makes it quieter than other macros and also the colour rendition is similar to the other S line lenses so they match well.

The OIS issue isn't a big one IMO of you own a s5ii, the in body stabilization is that amazing. It would however suck on my Sony body .

Yes the in-body stabilisation on the S5II is incredible so if you own on of these then it wouldn't be an issue like you said 😁

Really interested in the lens. Its the price that makes me stumble a bit. But hopefully i can build up to it
