Thank you Vincenzo ! The closeup lens is a RAYNOX DCR-250. The DCR-150 is also often used. Both superb optical quality. I will add links in the comments

What material is your diffusing medium made from please?

Hi Matt, for this "travel diffuser" I use thin translucent propylene sheets sourced from a local Arts&Crafts store. I then spray-glue several layers of thin packing foam, the kind found in DIY / hardware stores (I think 0.5mm thickness). 2-3 layers are enough to get good diffusion. When time perrmist I'll do a video on the fabrication of this diffuser

Non même en Californie ! Mais en cherchant un peu on trouvait des insectes. Mais très peu de temps surtout ! Il y aura plus au printemps à la prochaine visite
