Thanks for the review, Chris. What speed and sensitivity were you using for Autofocus in video? It look pretty quick, but not quite as smooth as most panasonic lenses look. Maybe this lens has more focus breathing than most Panasonic lenses???

First of all thanks a lot. The AF depends on the situation I’m in. Most of the time it’s Spot AF with mode 2 or custom settings. The breathing is normal in my eyes. Cheers :)

Depends - I have both and the 70-200 is heavier. But better for light 💡 I like the possibility with the macro features. Tripod 70200 handheld 70300

Thanks for the review, I have the 50-200mm Leica for my GH5 but I wonder if I could replace it with this 70-300mm ? Tonality, low light and bokeh seem better !

Thanks 🙏 nice combination stick with it. The 70-300 is for L-Mount use only so unfortunately it’s not working on mft.

Ich bin seid kurzem stolzer Besitzer einer S5 und habe das Tele auf meiner Watchlist. 😊 Wie sind aus deiner Sicht die Alternativen wie bspw. das 100-400 von Sigma was die Bildqualität angeht? Hast du da Erfahrungen?

Hi :) Das Sigma 100-400 mm habe ich noch nicht getestet. Ich habe es mir gerade nochmal schnell angesehen. Ich denke die Makro-Eigenschaften kann das Sigma nicht so wie das Panasonic. Das Sigma ist natürlich stärker von der Brennweite. Natürlich müsste man es im Detail beleuchten. Viel eher ist die Frage: Was genau möchtest du denn festhalten? Tiere, People, oder Natur?
