@@reddnizz2231 I don't think Powerslaves was ever intended to be the name of the band. It was a name they used only one time to play a secret show in 2016, before they officially debuted as Lovebites in 2017, according to a Tweet from their offical account. That's something a lot of bands do, especially when playing secret live shows, for a variety of reasons, such as if the show isn't officially sanctioned by their label, or they're still working out the details of their official debut.

Music- wise the goddesses can emulate anyone. Some doubted Asami because of her accent. Asami in this song has done such a credible job....doing the cover of such a difficult song from Judas Priest......and she sounds amazing. You can be forgiven for assuming the name comes from the Judas Priest song, you wouldn't be the first. But it actually comes from the Halestorm song "Love Bites (So Do I)," which Asami used as her audition song. Asami has also appeared onstage with Halestorm to sing the song as a duet with Lzzy Hale, and Lovebites also performed a cover of the song live as a band. Judas Priest is one of their influences, however, though not quite as major an influence as Iron Maiden and Helloween. Judas Priest is the second band they've done an official cover of (the Halestorm cover wasn't an official release), after Helloween's "Eagle Fly Free." Their first two major nods to other bands were related to their two biggest influences, with the song "The Crusade" being an intentional tribute to Iron Maiden, then of course the Helloween cover, which is from their "Awake Again: Live from the Abyss" livestream DVD. The Judas Priest cover has never been performed live, at least not in a recorded performance, but was released only as a bonus track on the deluxe 5-disc version of their "In the Beginning" best-of compilation that was released around the same time Miho decided to leave the band.

Macy, the original has one of the best MV’s ever. Very cheaply made but brilliantly executed. This has been described as the metal National Anthem. The girls owned it.

Who told you they performed this song live once? They released this cover with the purchase of a 5 disk box set plus DVD, called Heavy Metal Never Dies, but you had to purchase the entire box set. They've never performed this song live before its release on the boxset. I don't recall them performing any of their covers during a concert, for that matter. Glad you're feeling better, Macy.

I was basing that on a comment that was left on my solo reaction to the song last week: "this Painkiller cover was played live by Lovebites in a private concert in Japan reserved for the fan club. This was the last track from a concert that was played at Veats SHIBUYA in Tokyo on November 23, 2019. No video was released from this concert."
