I feel like they were really building him up to be an important character in the show back in seasons 1 and 2, but then he just kinda...disappeared? Then many years later I saw him in Captain America and it all made sense. Why he disappeared from the show. I'm proud of him, as an actor, for snatching a fantastic role, but he was my favourite character on Once Upon A Time. I hate that he kinda vanished off the show without a proper farewell. I mean, at least we saw him get reunited with his daughter, but still. It really felt like they were gonna make him more important, and he was a fan favourite. But good for him 👌 Glad he snagged the Bucky role. I hope to see him in more stuff in the future once he's done with Marvel films.

I started watching OUaT because of Sebastian Stan being in it Anyways, while watching it I was like: "He doesn't really act like Bucky" while simultaneously thinking "Sebastian is good at playing mentally unstable characters" and also "Bucky." I'd also like to point out that he fell out of a window and that would probably kill or injure him but he's not dead Another thing that could kill you by falling out of it, for example, is a train.
